What is RohoYoga
For me, the strength and beauty of yoga is the connection of the mind, body and spirit. By bringing these together we create a place to reduce stress, gain energy and find balance. RohoYoga is for real people, run by a real person with a focus on enabling you to make space in your life for a healthier, calmer, mind and body.
In Swahili, the language of my childhood, ‘Roho’ means ‘soul’ or ‘spirit’. RohoYoga is a place where you can take the time to simply ‘be’; to take time for you while we focus on alignment and on the physical and mental benefits of each pose.
By focusing on what matters to you, I will help you to make a healthy lifestyle accessible to you, no matter how busy you are and how little time you have. I will work with you to explore the benefits of joint mind and body work so that you feel energised, healthy and able to be who you want to be.

We all live in a busy world with demands increasing on both employers and employees alike. We work long hours, often hunched over a computer. We skip meals, keep a phone glued to our ear, and rarely leave our desk for a break.

How we respond to stress can have a significant impact on our energy, health and inner peace.
I have created a number of programmes that can help minimise the stress felt in the body and mind. The most common of these include reducing stress-related absences, improving concentration, improving decision-making abilities and the ability to multi-task as well as relieving head, neck and back strains and pain.

I offer tailored sessions where I work just with you, working through poses that are designed to meet your aims at a pace and time that works for you. The sessions can be anything upwards of 30 mins to 90mins and will fit around your life to enable you to get the most from them.
